EVENT | Twilight Tuesdays by Drake One Fifty & Momofuku featuring gourmet street food & drinks, summertime treats & music!

This summer has been quite the eventful one for the Toronto food scene and here's another one to put on your radar! In fact, it's a weekly event created by Drake One Fifty & Momofuku to provide gourmet street food, thirst quenching drinks, delightful treats by local vendors and music by Canadian artists - all in the little parkette, located behind the Drake One Fifty.

Every week, the hosts, Drake One Fifty & Momofuku will cook up something delicious for the hungry diners but on alternating weeks, their Financial District neighbours, The Gabardine and Richmond Station will join them.  This week, it was The Gabardine. For fans of any of the four restaurants or even if you haven't visited any, it's a great chance to grab a quick bite or see what kind of food they offer!

This week was also the first ever of the Twilight Tuesdays series and a busy one at that! I got there just after 6PM and the lineup to buy food/drink tickets was forming fast along York St.

Tickets are $5 each and it gets you one food dish or a drink.

The Gabardine: Fried Chicken with watermelon & green tomato salad

Just look at that pork crackling!

Drake One Fifty: Roast Pork Sandwich with pickles

Drake One Fifty: Beef Skewers

Momofuku: Bossam - pork belly with rice, kimchi puree & ginger scallion sauce in a bib lettuce wrap

Great vibe at Twilight Tuesdays with local musician & vendors!

Augie's Ice Pops: Vietnamese Coffee & Grapefruit Ginger Ice Pops

Don't miss out on this great after work mini night market in the heart of Toronto's financial district! Did I mention that as a community event, all proceeds from food sales will be donated to the 'Out Of The Cold' program at St. Andrew's Church?

Every Tuesdays from 5 - 9PM. Be there, or be square.

-Our meal at this event was complimentary but opinions are our own-
