Same great location, attentive service, and a beautiful hotel you enter through called the Four Seasons. So, what's different about the newly renovated Cafe Boulud? For one, it's the newly designed space that is modern and cozy; another is a wide range of new menu items that is traditionally French but with influences that Chef Daniel Boulud soaked in from cooking and dining around the world in different cultures.

Fast food is called fast food for a reason, it's in and out for those who are on the go or have no time. Don't let that fool you though, there is nothing fast about the time it takes for a new item to make it onto Mcdonald's Canada permanent menu as we learned when we attended the Mighty Angus Open Kitchen Flavour Session.

Are you a brunch lover like myself? Then, I suppose you've already hit your favourite brunch spots this summer or maybe found a new gem in your neighbourhood. I love brunch because it's the perfect excuse to go back to the diner that you've been going for years or to discover a new place and catch up with friends over delicious food and coffee. Summer brunches are the cream of the crop, the cherry on top for me since I can eat on the patio and enjoy the warm sunshine that is becoming such a rarity in Toronto (haha). Last weekend, a few girls and I got together at Aroma Espresso Bar's Liberty Village location for some brunchin' and boozin - yes, you read that right.

If you've ever met Monica and I, you'll know that we are not ones to turn down cake or any dessert for that matter. They're the perfect desserts for any occasion, and there's nothing more satisfying than that first cut into a cake. There's definitely an abundance of bakeries across Toronto, including one that we came across recently, called: La Dulce Torta.

Although we're still a little confused about summer in Toronto this year, there are days where I would love for nothing but a nice cold drink on a patio and there are days/nights where I wish I could crank up the heat in my house. For those hot and sweaty days, there's really nothing like a cold drink or a cold dessert to cool you down - I'm talking about some Taiwanese crushed ice desserts and milk teas!

Who said summer's coming to an end? With better weather than ever before in Toronto, it's hard to head home after a day of work. This week's about to get better with Barcelona's popular beer brand, Estrella Damm launching a fun and delicious Tapas Journey program to run for 10 days. 20 of Toronto's best restaurants will be offering a pint of its smooth lager and 3 different tapas dishes for $20! Tonight, we had the pleasure of getting a preview at some of my favourite restaurants: Marben, Valdez and Patria.
